Recovery and Aftercare
- Mild tenderness or tightness may be experienced around the treated area for the first few days.
- Keeping the site clean and protected supports proper healing and reduces the chance of visible scarring.
- Exercise can generally be resumed either immediately or after a short rest period, depending on the body area involved.

I originally visited Dr Askouni 3 years ago, requesting her help regarding a failed surgery I had with another very well-known plastic surgeon in Greece (unsuccessful removal of moles from scalp and back which resulted in infected wounds and keloid hypertrophic scars). She came across extremely knowledgeable, friendly and provided a thorough explanation of my post-surgery condition and how it could be treated. Unlike other surgeons, she accepted to take over the reconstructive surgery and I was utterly pleased with the outcome. She is methodical, approachable, caring to the patient and extremely skilled.
